The river was low and clear with very bright overhead conditions and none of
the larger chub showed . Winner
Mark Allison won the match with an unusual all perch catch of 10lb 9oz on stick
float and maggot from peg 25. Three of the perch were over 2lb with the largest
weighing 3lb 8oz. Second was Dave Summers with a single barbel 7lb 12oz on
ledgered maggot from peg 63. Third was George Huscroft with 7lb 8oz from peg 39
and 4th was Matty Prudhoe with 6lb 15oz oz from peg 42.

The river was 1ft up but very clear and rose slowly during the match . Winner
Ian Parker caught a barbel weghing 8lb 5oz and added two small chub on feeder
and caster for a weight of 10lb 8oz from peg 65. Second was Paul Tinkler with
9lb of chub on float fished grub from peg 18. Third was Martin Welsch with 5lb
10oz from peg 16
and 4th was Steve Fox with 4lb 11oz oz from peg 42.

The river was
very low and clear with very bright overhead conditions turning the match into
a real grueller with only 4 anglers catching . Winner John Leyland caught 2
chublets for 1lb 4oz from peg 68 on stick float and maggot. Second was Eddie
Loftus with 1lb of bits from peg 75. Third was John Eyles with 15oz from peg
43.

2ft of extra water and some colour was just what was
needed to improve catches and in the ideal conditions Matty Prudhoe led the
field with 18lb 7oz of chublets and dace with a bonus 5lb chub on stick float
and maggot from peg 39. Charlie Hardaker was second with a 7lb 12oz
barbel and a large chub for 12lb 10oz from peg 24. 3rd was Dave Kemp 9lb 10oz
peg 75 and 4th was Mark Allison 7lb 10oz peg63.

Match 23.8.09
The
river was only about a foot up but was a dark peaty colour and most weights
were chublets on stick float and maggot. Winner Eddie Loftus was the only
angler to catch large chub and included 3 of them and a few chublets on
ledgered grub for 14lb 8oz from peg 9. Second was Colin Moore with chublets on
maggot weighing 9lb 11oz from peg 75. Third was Steve Taylor 5lb 9oz
peg 68 and 4th was Davey Browne 3lb 4oz
peg 71.

The river was a foot up up and a dark peaty colour and a few of
the larger chub responded. Matty Prudhoe caught
3 on maggot feeder with some dace and chublets for a winning weight of 13lb 5oz
from peg 16. Second was Mick Welsch with 1 chub and a few bits from peg 43. 3rd
was Jack Cragg 3lb 12oz peg 48 and 4th was Eddie Loftus 3lb from peg
9.

The
river was at normal level for the opening match but the larger fish failed to
respond. Winner Charlie Hardaker caught a 5lb pike on meat and some chublets on
stickfloat for 7lb 8oz from peg 58. Second was Dave Hill Jnr with an all
chublets catch of 6lb13oz on stick float and caster from peg 68. Third was
Matty Prudhoe with 4lb 14oz from peg 42 and 4th was Dave Summers peg 65 2lb
13oz.

The
river was just a couple of inches up and the perfect conditions produced the
best weights of the season to date. Winner John Leyland caught 8 large
chub on stickfloat and maggot for 29lb 9oz from peg 43. Second was Davey
Browne with a catch of chublets , dace and 4 small barbel for 14lb 11oz on
stickfloat maggot from peg 68. Third was Matin Welsch with 7lb 0oz from peg 73
and 4th was Alex Caygill peg 41 6lb 6oz.

The
river was less than a foot up and though quite clear produced the best weight
of the season for Matty Prudhoe who won easily with 7 good chub and a few
grayling on stick float and maggot from peg 25 weighing 33lb 2oz. Second with 4
chub on bread for 16lb 4oz was Eddie Loftus from peg 48. 3rd Colin
Moore 6lb 12oz peg 24 and 4th was John Leyland 5lb 11oz peg 72.

Committee Match - Crimple Fishery 24.5.09
Dave Moffat won the match with a mixed catch of roach bream
and carp on pole fished meat and corn weighing 15lb 10oz. Second and winner of
the Committee Trophy was Frank Johnson with 12lb 0oz .Third was Eddie Loftus
with 10lb 14oz.and 4th was David Kemp with 10lb 10oz

The
river was 3ft up and rising slowly with snow broth which affected weights but
some of the bigger chub were feeding. Steve Hargreaves caught 2 for 8lb 3oz to
win the match on ledgered bread from peg 16. Second placed Matty Pruhhoe also
caught 2 chub for 6lb on maggot from peg 63. 3rd was Alan Miller P24 4lb 10oz
and 4th was Charlie Hardaker 4lb 2oz P65.

the match. Winner John Leyland caught an 8lb 3oz barbel and a small chub
for 9lb total on ledgered meat from peg 54. Second placed Eddie Loftus
caught 2 chub on bread from peg 18 for 5b 7oz. 3rd was Matty Prudhoe 4lb 5oz P72
and 4th was Alan Shearer 2lb 8oz on from peg 49.

match turned into a grueller as the river was already 5ft up at the start and
continued
to rise another 3ft.
Jack Cragg won the match with
the
only chub caught
which
weighed 4lb 12oz. The only other fish caught in the difficult conditions were
gudgeon and Mark Balderstone caught three for second place from peg 11. Jt Third
with
2 gudgeon each
